How do you like the new look? I am in love and could not be happier with the results, the lovely Katrina Chambers who starred on The Block with her sister Amy was the talented person that put this together for me. Even though you know, I was really proud of my efforts attempting to make my blog look good, it was never at the level I wanted it to be... well till now! I am so excited to have it all up and running and cannot wait to bring it to a whole new level. So are you going to be stopping by regularly? Katrina has her own lifestyle and interiors blog that is full of useful and resourceful information. It is also a place where she shares lots of tips for bloggers as well as, her everyday life. She also runs her successful web designing business The Media Maid, where she teaches as well as designs blogs and websites.
The two sisters have also just launched The Design Tribe blog where they have a live forum where you can post any questions to do with Interiors and get some feedback. It is really interactive as well as being full of tips and latest trends, so make sure you go and check it out.
Let me know what you think of the new look and what you would like to see more of on BTD below.
Ps: We also have some other very exciting news to share with you all... A little blurb about JDZ Designs was published in this months Renegade Collective magazine!! We will tell you more about it on Monday.

BEC MARKS THE SPOT
Were you a fan of The Block Sky High? Well, a lot of you may know that yes we did apply for next years season of The Block, however unfortunately we didn't get chosen! Oh well, it was not meant to be... this time round anyway. I have been a fan for a very long time of the show and last year's season was not only very eventful but had some great constants that we grew to love watching. One of those couples was definitely Bec & George, who really fought their battles and had a very challenging experience, but took it all in their stride with a very positive attitude and kept going. Bec has now launched her own website dedicated to all things that Bec loves, including fashion, beauty and homewares. It is a great space dedicated to sharing a lot about her, her family, experiences on the show and everything that she really loves. She has been showcasing some great new products and I really look forward to following her blog. As you all know I am a big supporter of blogging and love doing it. As an Interior Designer it is so important to have as many resources as possible when it comes to knowing all the new products and what is in trend, so having another great blog on my resource list to check into is very helpful.
Make sure you take a look at her blog here.
Hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday,

MAKING MY MARK
Well it has been a very exciting morning as I have just been featured in an interview by an amazing artist, interior stylist and blogger Anna White of Lona de Anna. Lona de Anna features a monthly post called "Make Your Mark" which features woman in business who are achieving their dreams. It is a post about inspiring others to have the courage to keep doing what they love to achieve everything that they desire. I have been following Lona de Anna through her blog and instagram for a while now and really love her work. She was too an inspiration to me when I was questioning myself, thinking is this what I should be doing? Is it worth it? Is it the right time? All those questions you ask yourself.
So it was a real pleasure and thrill to be interviewed by her for "Make your Mark." It also marks the first official publication on JDZ Designs, which in itself is ... well, awesome!
Here is a sneak peek, but you can find the full interview by clicking here.
Happy reading,
