ARMADILLO NEW RANGE

Today at Decoration + Design I was mostly excited to head on over to the Armadillo & Co section to check out their new 2014 collection and their new Kilim rugs. Tomorrow on The Men Behaving Handy Blog, you will be seeing me talk about the rug trend and why rugs are very important. They allow you to be a little more adventurers with pattern and colour, which is what I feel this Armadillo & Co range very much expresses. Aztec has been a very huge trend that has carried through the design realm for a few years now and even though it isn't as popular at the moment, it is still popping up in many different areas in bright and colourful ways.

Armadillo & Co have a great collection as well as some perfect pieces for the kids.

EMBRACING THE FESTIVE SEASON

As a lot of you already know I am a contributor to the handy man website " Men Behaving Handy" on Fridays and it is a great way to share a lot more of my ideas and advice with everyone around Australia. I wanted to share a link from their blog today because it is fitting the theme for this week, embracing summer and getting ready for the festive season. I have a very special occasion this weekend for some special friends, as well as helping them pull together their dream party, design invites and decorations for the party, it is going to be such a fun night and I cannot wait. Decorating and styling does not stop in your interiors, it continues to your outdoors and can really help you bring a special occasion to life.

SUMMER LOVIN'

I just had to post quickly about the first day of summer, because it not only marks the true beginning of the festive season but it means those hot days and long summer nights I always rant on about and dream about are coming our way! Lots and LOTS of awesome stuff coming up over this december and just because it is almost Christmas does not mean in anyway we are slowing down... if anything we are busier than ever and loving it. Look out for lots of fun things including my own wish list and gift guide this month.

MEN BEHAVING HANDY

Very exciting Monday morning as I am very pleased to announce that I am a contributor for the Men Behaving Handy, an online website dedicated to being a " one stop shop " for all maintenance, home improvement and repair needs. They are based in Perth, however I am so excited to have this opportunity to reach more readers around Australia and inform them about Interiors and how they can go about improving them. The posts go up every Friday for Friday Funky Furnishings with me! Just because you may not be in Perth does not mean you cannot benefit from expert advice from the interiors and construction industry and gain some really handy hints along the way. It is also assisting me to promote my online design and styling services - E Styling, which allows anyone in Australia to benefit from design knowledge and expertise even though I may not be with them in person.
