It's Valentines Day this Friday and what better way to celebrate then with some practical but those not so over the top kind of gifts. I like Valentines Day but we don't necessarily celebrate it on a huge scale, but something sweet, like an awesome card or a small useful gift or even better experience that the both of you can enjoy is always nice.

7 ITEMS ON MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

I am sharing my top 7 things on my wish list this Christmas, information is below the images. What is on your Christmas wish list this year? 

1. Glass House Candles - Not only do they smell absolutely amazing, they are just really good looking as well. I am very much lusting over the Little Black Dress one and want it to add to my collection. 

2. An awesome pendant light for my office- Yep, you read correctly, I am dying for an awesome pendant light for my office and to be exact, this one is from Matt Blatt and I want it! 

3. My very own designed Isola tote page - Do I have to say anymore? 

4. Another Fiel Sol Necklace - Cannot go past these beautiful pieces, they are my favourite necklaces and you cannot ever have too many. 

5. Marc Jacobs Laptop case - This Island Life laptop case is a perfect match to my lovely new MacBook Pro

6. Kikki K A Sentence a day - Being grateful for everything we have in our lives is so important and what better way than to achieve it with these beautiful stationary pieces

Such a great and inspiring day... cannot wait for the rest of the design fair to continue and with so much to report on. Then I get back to my organised mess that is my work station ... not my actual desk...just where the design magic happens and cant wait to get back stuck into my important projects. 

Here are a few images to share what has been happening this week including some progress shots on a whole new scheme for a client's bedroom ( the results are coming up amazingly well) and a very happy clients picture that was sent to me of my lovely cushions that were purchased. 

I also wanted to share a little quote that I found yesterday that was very cute and true. It is so important to be nice to everyone and be considerate towards other. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am a VERY big advocate for this type of behavior. It is very true that it really does make all the difference.

FEATURE SATURDAY

Unfortunately there were not enough hours in the day yesterday and I clearly need to start prepping more of my posts as my schedule is getting busier and busier which is very exciting. So I am so sorry for missing Feature Friday but that is why today is a very special post dedicated to what was ment to be yesterday's post. 

I am taking the opportunity today to showcase and launch with you all the beginning of my hexagon pattern range of cushions and artworks. Since my post on the trend, I have been seeing more and more hexagon related products, accessories and patterns everywhere. If you have had a chance to pick up the new Real Living magazine for September ( Flower Power - such a great read! ) you would have noticed all the hexagon inspired references as much as I did. Society 6 has been great in terms of being able to start to develop and get some view/sales and opinions on my designs and pieces. Eventually, in the near future I am going to be developing those patterns and textiles further and having them sold directly through the JDZ website. Very much a working progress, but it will get there. Oh and of course, I had to through in a preview of my other collection coming soon, exclamation marks! If you know me well, you know I am a very big fan of the exclamation. The collection is only fitting then, don't you think?

Just a friendly reminder, Society6 is an american website so it takes roughly about 10 to 14 days to receive your package and the free shipping only applies to cushion covers without an insert, skins, Iphone, Ipad, laptop cases. It does not include cushions with inserts, framed and stretched canvas. Who needs inserts anyway... with just a cover means that you can chop and change your case as much as you like!
